Fatal Claw has 51 Steam achievements at the 1.0 launch according to the source pack. Only part of that list is confirmed by public names in the pack, so this guide separates named achievements from category-based cleanup. That keeps the page useful without inventing the missing achievement names.
If you are still routing the game, pair this page with the Fatal Claw Walkthrough. If you need system context for Cabitz, Kannium, Silver Claw, and mutations, use Fatal Claw Ability System Explained.
Confirmed Highlighted Achievements
The source pack identifies ten achievements highlighted by NDEV Games or confirmed through the packed notes. Some include global percentages, while others do not have a percentage listed in the source.
| Achievement | Confirmed Condition | Global Percent In Source |
|---|---|---|
| Weed Control | Defeat Saitin | 91.5% |
| Fine-Tuned! | Equip Cabitz | 83.7% |
| Claw Sharpening | Use Kannium to upgrade your Claw | 68.6% |
| Let There Be Light | Defeat Mirkam and restore power to the village | 66.4% |
| Destroyed Legacy | Acquire the Damaged Silver Claw | 65.5% |
| Pull Yourself Together | Ortrinde-related | Not listed |
| Too Slow… | Irbes-related, with phase-two copies noted | Not listed |
| Meditation of Jibanam | Acquire the water mutation ability | Not listed |
| Water Cat | Overcome fear of water with Meditation of Jibanam | Not listed |
| This Settles My Debt | Postgame cleanup chain involving Cain and Archive progress | Not listed |
Do not treat “not listed” as rare or common. It only means the source pack does not provide that value.
Boss Milestone Achievements
Boss achievements are the easiest category to understand because several are tied to named fights. Saitin is the first named Steam boss in Origin Laboratory. Mirkam restores power to the village. Ortrinde is an early boss with floating blades and weak telegraphing. Irbes has phase-two copies that can spawn clumped together. The pack also names Kurtz, Sorron, Enma, Nagaraja, and Sommar as boss or boss-adjacent progression anchors.
For boss cleanup, build around the problem each fight creates rather than trying to force one universal loadout. If a fight punishes frontal pressure, Blink may matter. If a fight asks you to counter an enemy ability, Engraved Skills may matter. If you are running dry on recovery, blue-orb healing discipline matters more than raw aggression.
The Fatal Claw Cabitz Builds page gives role-based build ideas for this kind of adjustment.
Region Reach Achievements
The source pack lists a group of “reach area” achievements. These are useful route markers because they confirm major progression bands.
- Gale Warning - reach Strigine Quarry.
- Into the Darkness - reach Black Canyon.
- Golden Castle - reach Elord Castle.
- Frozen Boundary - reach Higasha Tundra.
- Prison of the Forbidden - reach Jayma’s Dungeon.
- Sea of Energy - reach Kannir Belt.
If one of these achievements is missing, check whether your route actually entered the named region or whether you only reached a nearby transition. The pack does not define exact trigger rooms, so use the achievement category as a route clue rather than a precise coordinate.
Sanctuary And Key Achievements
Three sanctuary achievements are confirmed:
- First Key of Hope - Stone Sanctuary.
- Second Key of Hope - Kannir Sanctuary.
- Third Key of Hope - Water Sanctuary.
The Third Key of Hope is especially important because Water Sanctuary requires Meditation of Jibanam. If you cannot route into a water-gated path, you may be missing the relevant mutation. Lower Moss Cave and Jibanam notes point toward this broader water progression thread.
For a region-by-region route, use the Fatal Claw Walkthrough.
System Achievements
System achievements reward engaging with Fatal Claw’s upgrade and build layers. Fine-Tuned! confirms Cabitz equipment. Claw Sharpening confirms Kannium use at the Claw upgrade layer. Destroyed Legacy confirms the Damaged Silver Claw. Meditation of Jibanam confirms water mutation acquisition.
These achievements are good checks against overly narrow play. If you are only using the basic Claw and ignoring Cabitz or mutations, the game may still move forward for a while, but your achievement list will show missing system engagement. The How to Play Fatal Claw guide explains why the four verbs should support each other instead of competing.
Postgame And Ending-State Cleanup
This Settles My Debt is the most warning-heavy achievement in the source pack because it is tied to a postgame cleanup chain involving Cain, Aisare Stone Shards, Archive progress, and ending-state dependencies. The pack also says Fatal Claw has a single ending, Stone of Narrative alternate segments, extra cycles after the epilogue, and memory fragments replacing previously collected heart and mana pieces.
That means a first clear may not be enough for all cleanup. After the epilogue, Kisha returns to Shrine of Ancestors to hit return. Use that state to check unresolved threads before assuming an achievement is impossible.
